The research areas of the Laboratory Brain Space provide access to an evolving set of books. These, taken from the documentary collection of the Institute of Contemporary Art, provide an overview of the history of recent art, plastic creation and artistic reflection, in relation to the themes addressed by the laboratory as the stations progress. They are also chosen according to the artists presented or studied and the different speakers at the study days and conferences.

Classified in alphabetical order into major categories - monographic works, essays and catalogues of collective exhibitions, as well as periodical publications - the works are supplemented by an evolving webography, which also links them to current artistic, philosophical or scientific events whose problems echo those of the Laboratory Brain Space.
